Download DayZ .zip
The.rar file for each version can be found in the version’s folder in my Steam folder. Go to: C:\Users\{UserName}\Documents\My Games\Half-Life 2\Steam\steamapps\common\DayZ
Locate the each folder corresponding to that specific version and drag the.rar file into the folder to extract the files. (If you have multiple versions of the mod, make sure to drag each version’s.rar into its own folder)

– Download Alpha22 Patch.zip
– Launch Alpha22 Patch.zip, select “Preferences > Mod Manager”
– Click “Add”
– Add the following code to the “Addon Path:” field: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DayZ“
The following files should be present already:
PXMOD_ClientMod.dll
ServerDebug.dll
Cfg_patch.cfg
– Download Alpha22 Patch.zip
– Launch Alpha22 Patch.zip
– Select “Preferences > Mod Manager”
– Select “Rename Mods” (Type a name in the “New Name:” box, click “OK”)
– Click “Add”
– Select “Addon Path:” and set it to “C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DayZ”
– Select “Max Limit Files” and set it to “255” (255 is an arbitrary limit. Adjust as necessary)
If you wish to download the.ZIP file for the latest version, please use the link provided to download the mod’s.ZIP file.
Note: Currently when my servers are on, if you attempt to join a multiplayer game that is on, you will first have to disconnect from your server and reconnect again.
